    Reviews:

    • I absolutely loved this property. I did not have a chase to see it in the daylight, as I arrived in the dark and left first thing in the morning. The staff are only on site when people are staying, but they will bend over backwards to help you out. I was most impressed that even though I was the only guest, they brought the Chef in to make me dinner. Extremely beautiful property with huge rooms and super comfortable beds.
    • What was not to like and there was nothing. Its the second time Ive stayed and it was even better. Everyone and everything fantastic.
    • 10/10 for everything, perfect. Stunning building and rooms, comfy bedrooms with huge shower. Fantastic food, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would definitely return.
    • Amazing, quiet location, but only 15mins from M74. The building is splendid. However James and his staff were so nice and friendly. There was a great chef hiding in the kitchen too.
    • Staff were amazing especially Jill. Food was fantastic. Rooms were out of this world. Location is something else.

    Reviews:

    • Having stayed at Village Inn before I knew Alison and Frazer would look after us all. Travelling on motorcycles we arrived dripping wet but Alison soon sorted us out with a drying room and a warming drink. Food is basic pub food but very good.I would happily stay again whenever I was in this part of the country.
    • I arrived at this Inn, in a small village early evening with my dog. The owner made us feel welcome and showed us a very nice room. I had all the facilities you would expect. I was only staying one night on my way back from the NC500 so planned an early night and then to leave by 0700 on a Sunday morning. I had expected to have to skip breakfast, but the owner was hearing none of it. She provided me breakfast a full cooked Scottish at 0630. Amazing thing to do. A little gem in a remote location
    • Really clean , comfort and friendly service. Excellent shower and comfortable bed and nice linens. Great breakfast.
    • The inn was located in a quiet village. Our room and bathroom were spotless and extremely comfortable. There was nothing we needed that had not been already provided. If we had needed anything, I have no doubt the very amiable family who runs the inn would have helped us obtain it. We had both dinner and breakfast, which were both delicious. The family was also very observant of Covid requirements and we felt very safe. We wish there was a Village Inn everywhere we visited. It really sets the standard for hospitable and friendly service.
    • Absolutely outstanding in every way. This was a real Scottish village with authentic atmosphere and a hostess that went above and beyond. She even waited for us to return from dinner and came outside to guide us in with a flashlight. We felt like family. The room was clean. The food excellent. Superb!
